Amazon Bedrock

Invoke foundation models on AWS Bedrock including Claude, Llama, and Titan. In Appbricx, your workflows and server functions call it by name once it is connected.

What you can do

5 actions, each one call from a workflow or a server function. Triggers come from your app: a row changing, a schedule or a webhook.

  • Generate Content from Imagegenerate_content_from_image
    Ask a Bedrock model a question about an image.
  • Generate Embeddingsgenerate_embeddings
    Generate vector embeddings from text using Amazon Titan Embed, Cohere Embed, or Amazon Nova Multimodal Embeddings models.
  • Generate Imagegenerate_image
    Generate an image from a text prompt using Amazon Titan Image Generator or Stability AI models.
  • Ask Bedrocksend_prompt
    Send a text prompt to an Amazon Bedrock model.
  • Custom API Callcustom_api_call
    Make a custom API call to any AWS Bedrock endpoint. Requests are automatically signed with AWS Signature V4.

Set it up

About two minutes, once per project or once for the whole workspace.

  1. Open Integrations in the builder

    Backend panel, Integrations tab, then Amazon Bedrock. To connect it for every project, use Workspace settings, Integrations.

  2. Add your credentials

    Fill in the fields the provider needs (listed below). They are stored encrypted in the vault.

    • Access Key ID Your AWS access key ID
    • Secret Access Key Your AWS secret access key
    • Region AWS region (e.g. us-east-1)
  3. Call an action

    From a workflow, by integration id and action name. The call answers with success, output and, when it fails, the reason.

    Workflow
    // .workflow.js (native ctx)
    export async function run(ctx) {
      const res = await ctx.integrations.invoke("amazon_bedrock", "generate_content_from_image", {
        "model": "<model>",
        "image": "<image>",
        "prompt": "<prompt>"
      });
      if (!res.success) throw new Error(res.error);
      ctx.log.info("Amazon Bedrock answered", { output: res.output });
    }
