Connect

Auth type: API key (secret_text). Paste the API key (or token) from the provider's settings into the connect dialog. It is encrypted at rest and only decrypted on the server when an action runs.

  • In the editor: Backend panel, Integrations tab, then Connect. This connects it for the project.
  • For every project in a workspace: Workspace settings, Integrations.
  • Owners and admins choose which integrations members may connect in the admin panel (Integrations tab), and can attach their own OAuth app there.

Call it from a workflow

Pass the action name and its input. The call resolves with { success, output, error? }; a missing connection resolves with success false and the reason. See ctx.integrations.invoke and ctx.integrations.call.

Native workflow
// .workflow.js (native ctx)
export async function run(ctx) {
  const res = await ctx.integrations.invoke("groq", "ask-ai", {
    "model": "<model>",
    "prompt": "<question>",
    "maxTokens": 1
  });
  if (!res.success) throw new Error(res.error);
  ctx.log.info("Groq answered", { output: res.output });
}
defineWorkflow module
// defineWorkflow module (@app/sdk ctx)
import { defineWorkflow } from "@app/sdk";

export default defineWorkflow({
  id: "groq-ask-ai",
  name: "Groq: Ask AI",
  description: "Calls Groq when a row is created.",
  trigger: { type: "entity_event", entity: "tickets", event: "created" },
  async run(ctx, event) {
    const res = await ctx.integrations.call("groq", {
      "action": "ask-ai",
      "model": "<model>",
      "prompt": "<question>",
      "maxTokens": 1
    }) as { success: boolean; error?: string };
    if (!res.success) throw new Error(res.error);
  },
});
From an app (connector proxy)
curl -X POST "$APP_ORIGIN/__appbricx/connector-proxy/groq/ask-ai" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $APP_KEY" \
  -H "content-type: application/json" \
  -d '{"props":{"model":"<model>","prompt":"<question>","maxTokens":1}}'

Actions

ask-aiin catalog

Ask AI. Ask Groq anything using fast language models.

InputTypeDescription
modelrequiredid (picked from your account)The model which will generate the completion.
promptrequiredlong textQuestion
temperatureoptionalnumberControls randomness: Lowering results in less random completions. As the temperature approaches zero, the model will become deterministic and repetitive.
maxTokensrequirednumberThe maximum number of tokens to generate. The total length of input tokens and generated tokens is limited by the model's context length.
topPoptionalnumberAn alternative to sampling with temperature, called nucleus sampling, where the model considers the results of the tokens with top_p probability mass. So 0.1 means only the tokens comprising the top …
frequencyPenaltyoptionalnumberNumber between -2.0 and 2.0. Positive values penalize new tokens based on their existing frequency in the text so far, decreasing the model's likelihood to repeat the same line verbatim.
presencePenaltyoptionalnumberNumber between -2.0 and 2.0. Positive values penalize new tokens based on whether they appear in the text so far, increasing the model's likelihood to talk about new topics.
memoryKeyoptionaltextA memory key that will keep the chat history shared across runs and flows. Keep it empty to leave Groq without memory of previous messages.
rolesoptionalJSONArray of roles to specify more accurate response

transcribe-audioin catalog

Transcribe Audio. Transcribes audio into text in the input language.

InputTypeDescription
filerequiredfileThe audio file to transcribe. Supported formats: flac, mp3, mp4, mpeg, mpga, m4a, ogg, wav, webm.
modelrequiredid (picked from your account)The model to use for transcription.
languageoptionaltextThe language of the input audio in ISO-639-1 format (e.g., "en" for English). This will improve accuracy and latency.
promptoptionallong textAn optional text to guide the model's style or continue a previous audio segment. The prompt should match the audio language.
temperatureoptionalnumberThe sampling temperature, between 0 and 1. Higher values like 0.8 will make the output more random, while lower values like 0.2 will make it more focused and deterministic.
responseFormatoptionalone of "json" | "text" | "verbose_json"The format of the transcript output.

translate-audioin catalog

Translate Audio. Translates audio into English text.

InputTypeDescription
filerequiredfileThe audio file to translate. Supported formats: flac, mp3, mp4, mpeg, mpga, m4a, ogg, wav, webm.
modelrequiredid (picked from your account)The model to use for translation.
promptoptionallong textAn optional text in English to guide the model's style or continue a previous audio segment.
temperatureoptionalnumberThe sampling temperature, between 0 and 1. Higher values like 0.8 will make the output more random, while lower values like 0.2 will make it more focused and deterministic.
responseFormatoptionalone of "json" | "text" | "verbose_json"The format of the translation output.

custom_api_call

Custom API Call. Make a custom API call to a specific endpoint

InputTypeDescription
urlrequiredobject (depends on other props)url
methodrequiredone of "GET" | "POST" | "PATCH" | "PUT" | "DELETE" | "HEAD"Method
headersrequiredobjectAuthorization headers are injected automatically from your connection.
queryParamsrequiredobjectQuery Parameters
body_typeoptionalone of "none" | "json" | "form_data" | "raw"Body Type
bodyoptionalobject (depends on other props)Body
response_is_binaryoptionalbooleanEnable for files like PDFs, images, etc.
failsafeoptionalbooleanNo Error on Failure
timeoutoptionalnumberTimeout (in seconds)
followRedirectsoptionalbooleanFollow redirects
