MySQL
Run queries, insert, update, and delete rows in a MySQL database. In Appbricx, your workflows and server functions call it by name once it is connected.
What you can do
6 actions, each one call from a workflow or a server function. Triggers come from your app: a row changing, a schedule or a webhook.
- Delete RowDeletes one or more rows from a table
delete_row - Insert RowInserts a new row into a table
insert_row - Update RowUpdates one or more rows in a table
update_row - Execute QueryExecutes a query on the mysql database and returns the results
execute_query - Find RowsReads rows from a table
find_rows - Get TablesReturns a list of tables in the database
get_tables
Set it up
About two minutes, once per project or once for the whole workspace.
- Open Integrations in the builder
Backend panel, Integrations tab, then MySQL. To connect it for every project, use Workspace settings, Integrations.
- Add your credentials
Fill in the fields the provider needs (listed below). They are stored encrypted in the vault.
- Host Database server hostname or IP address
- Port Database server port (default 3306)
- User Database username
- Password Database password
- Database Database name to connect to
- Call an action
From a workflow, by integration id and action name. The call answers with success, output and, when it fails, the reason.
Workflow // .workflow.js (native ctx) export async function run(ctx) { const res = await ctx.integrations.invoke("mysql", "delete_row", { "table": "<table>", "search_column": "<search column>", "search_value": "<search value>" }); if (!res.success) throw new Error(res.error); ctx.log.info("MySQL answered", { output: res.output }); }
